Are your questions answered in a timely manner?
6. What are the commission rates? After you work hard to promote the affiliate program, you want to know that you’ll be rewarded accordingly. Ideally, you want to look for programs that offer over 40% in commission rates. But also look at how much you earn per sale. You don’t want to have sell hundreds of products before you see a decent wage.

You ahve made some really good points here with regard to choosing the right affiliate program.
As you say, there is an overwhelming amount of programs out there so it can be really hard to narrow it down.
Also, it can be tempting to join several programs, but I have learned that you need to master one program before you get too crazy with a lot of other programs.
